There’s a place for you in this story.
Whether you have an afternoon, a network, or a boardroom behind you — the Theoleen Brown Foundation has a way for you to turn it into restored dignity for a family.
Three ways in. One shared mission.
Each path plugs into a different part of how the Foundation runs — pick the one that fits how you want to give.
Volunteer
Give your time directly to the families and programmes on the ground — no experience required, just a willingness to show up.
Hands-on help, right where it’s needed.
Volunteers are the people who turn a strategy into a Saturday morning food drive, a tutoring session, or a move-in day. It’s the most direct way to be part of TBF’s work — you see the impact of your time in real time, not in a report.
Every one of our four pillars relies on people, not just funding. Volunteers extend our small team’s capacity across housing move-ins, education mentorship, food security logistics, and empowerment workshops — the human side of every programme.

Become a Partner
NGOs, faith groups, schools, and community organisations who share our mission and want to multiply their reach through ours.
Shared trust does more than solo effort.
Organisational partners already know their communities. Partnering with TBF means combining that local trust and knowledge with our funding, structure, and reporting — so support reaches further without either organisation duplicating work the other is already doing well.
Community and organisational partners help us identify need, verify that support reaches the right families, and extend our presence beyond Gauteng as we grow toward all nine provinces — exactly the community-driven approach our model is built on.

Corporate Partnerships
Businesses that want their CSI or ESG spend to show up as a measurable, reportable outcome — not just a line item.
CSI spend, with a family’s name on it.
Corporate partners fund and resource specific parts of our work — a bursary cohort, a community kitchen, materials for Wentzel Estates — and receive the same transparent reporting we give every donor. Skills-based volunteering and employee involvement can be built into any partnership.
Corporate and CSI funding is one of TBF’s three core funding sources, alongside individual donors and grants. It’s often what makes capital projects like transitional housing pilots and Wentzel Estates possible, on top of ongoing pillar funding.
