Our Story

A Living Legacy, Built on Love

The Theoleen Brown Foundation was established to honour the life of Theoleen Anita Brown (1973–2021), whose compassion and resilience continue to guide our work. We exist to restore dignity by addressing homelessness, poverty and inequality with practical, community-driven solutions — not once-off charity, but lasting change.

Founded and led by Mr Delroy Brown, TBF combines a deeply personal story with transparent governance and hands-on community partnership.

  • Practical, measurable, community-first programmes
  • Led by lived experience, not distant bureaucracy
  • Full transparency on how every donation is spent

Why Give Through Us

What Makes TBF Different

Plenty of organisations address poverty. Our strength is combining a personal story with transparent governance and a genuinely community-centred approach — so every donor feels connected to real, visible outcomes.

A Personal, Grounded Story

TBF isn’t a distant institution — it’s rooted in the real story of Theoleen Anita Brown, which shapes how every programme is designed and delivered.

Full Transparency & Accountability

Every donation is tracked against our published allocation model, so supporters can see exactly how housing, education, food and empowerment funding is spent.

Community-Centred Delivery

Volunteers and local partners extend our reach on the ground, building the trust needed for programmes to actually stick in the communities we serve.

Built for the Long Term

From immediate food relief to the flagship Wentzel Estates™ housing development, our roadmap balances urgent needs with lasting infrastructure.
